BB pg 411 # 14

this is the only one i missed in the math section. please help me.

14. Exactly 4 actors try out for the 4 parts in a play. If each actor can perform any one part and now one will perform more than one part, how many different assignments of actors are possible?

Feedback or explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are 4 possibilities for the role of the first part, 3 possibilities for the role of the second part, 2 possibilities for the role of the third part and 1 possibility for the role of the fourth part.
Thus, 432*1=24

You do not have to divide the result because in this situation, the roles are all different.

wow...., i really feel stupid now......

Thanks though!
