I’m want to get a business undergrad degree (BBA), but I also want to do medical school. So by following pre-med curriculum at certain universities should prepare me for the MCAT and such, but would it look good for the medical schools or would they look down on me because I didn’t do a science undergrad study?
Many non-hard science majors go on to med school but I’m honestly not sure how being business major would play in terms of med school applications. From what I understand the pre-med coursework consists of 2 bio, 2 chem, 2 organic chem, 2 physics and 2 calculus. It may be difficult to fit in all of these classes with some business curriculum.
To me, I feel like pure science degree was useless unless you got a PhD (otherwise, you’ll probably be a teacher with only a B.S), so I wanted to do either a finance degree or engineering for my undergrad studies
@GriffBaum Yeah, I was divided between BBA or Financial Analysis, so when happy1 said that it would be difficult to go to med school, I just switched to Finance :)>-
