I am applying to BC and I wanted to know more about the debate program. I read through the Fulton Debate Society webpage but it was not very helpful. Can anyone- alum, current student, or someone who knows about the program- give me a rundown on how debate works at BC (i.e. how to get in, how they enjoyed/ did not enjoy it, time commitment, etc)?
With all the big time political figures who have graduated and the ability of the school to shape these important leaders I would venture to guess its a strong group. But I am only guessing at this. Daughter attends and all of the clubs etc she went into have interviews and selections. They all seem to take it pretty seriously. But she’s not into debate so I don’t know there. Just a general observation about the ecs in general. Pretty high quality imho.
