small nit, pb. The data is for the class of 2018.
But some wonderful data if one takes the time to drill down. For example, the Big Four accounting firms were big employers of CSOM grads. IBanks also hiring.
Med schools and law schools to which grads were accepted.
What does this mean at the bottom?
"According to the Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment, the data represent a 75 percent knowledge rate for the Class of 2018. "
I don’t think everyone participates in the survey.
So, it really isn’t 96%.
I wouldn’t think they must be lying on purpose and putting it out there into the public domain. Jesuit academics aren’t known for that. Perhaps it’s an acceptable polling model. It’s still good info and nice to see that it’s being tracked to some degree.
I wouldn’t call it lying because they do put the disclaimer on the bottom but it is a bit of spin, don’t you think?
I think it is common for schools of BC’s caliber to track this stuff. It’s definitely a metric that colleges consider.
Yeah. I agree. However they can poll the whole country with 1500 phone calls. 75 percent is a pretty good response rate. But I’m not a statistician.
here’s a link to the data set to slice and dice by major or college:
