Yeah, Northeastern is better than BU, but not as good as BC.

Laughable. As the other person wrote consider the source of the “information”.

before you laugh too hard, check out the NRC rankings of a few science departments. NE does ok in that regard.

Some people just don’t know what they are talking about. Five seconds of research is all it takes.

“BC’s freshman don’t live on the main campus; as a BC freshman, you have to take a 15 minute bus ride to get to the main campus. Something to think about.”

You should really know what you’re talking about before you spout this crap off like its a fact. Over half of the Freshmen at BC do live on the main campus, I will be a Freshman there next month and I’m on the main campus. And as for the other 35-40%, the other campus is only 1.5 miles away (easily walking distance if you want) and the bus takes about 10 minutes max, usually more like 5-8.

Now for the OP, I’d second everyone’s call to have you check out NEU and Tufts. As for your BC/BU decision it sounds like you’re leaning BC a lot. Campus is a big deal and you said BU feels impersonal and too urban, then don’t go for it. It is an urban campus and its not for everyone.

One thing about BC though, it is a religiously affiliated school (Catholic). It shouldn’t be a huge deal, and I’m very non-religious and am attending, but its something to keep in mind.
