Being lesbian at Wash. U.

<p>I'm currently a senior in high school who is planning to apply to Wash. U. There are very few opportunities in my school and community to get into a relationship, and I'm seriously tired of unrequited love for lovely straight ladies. I'd love for that to change in college. </p>

<p>I have a few general questions. What is it like being lesbian in the school? How difficult is it to find other lesbians or a relationship? How open-minded is the student body in general? </p>

<p>As a gay male, I obviously don’t have the entire picture here, but I can tell you what I know. WashU is extremely accepting - I have not had a single negative experience here related to me being gay. While I don’t know the lesbian dating scene specifically, in general there tends to be a significant hookup culture but still opportunities to find relationships if that’s what you’re looking for.</p>
