Bennington Chances

<p>There is certainly no problem writing about Marx. However, there is a difference between Marx ("Capital' and other texts) and Marxism - as Marx said later in life; I am not a Marxist. What would have Marx thougt of those who institutionalized his practical philosophy: Lennin, Trotsky, Mao, Stalin. I doubt that he would have thought much of any of them. Note that an interesting Marxist taught at Bennington: Eric Fromm. He integrated Marxist and Psychoanalytic thought (might want to read 'the Sane Society').</p>
