I’m trying to get a sense for how the Bennington Plan works. Are there really no required classes or distribution requirements? I’m guessing they encourage you to take classes in a variety of areas, which makes good sense, but am wondering how that shakes out in reality. I’m interested in music, theater, and digital art and love the idea of being able to focus on those three areas. Had thought Sarah Lawrence would allow that flexibility too but once you dig into their program it actually limits how many arts classes you can take. Would love to get a sense if that’s the case at Bennington, too. Thanks for any thoughts!
