Well it’s December and I thought it might be a good time to start an ED thread for Bentley’s Class of 2023.
A few years back I found CC and as a novice parent new to the whole college process, I learned so much from the ED and RD threads. My S16 had applied to 9 schools back then. It definitely helped by reading those threads and establishing realistic expectations for each school on his list. In the end, my S16 choose Bentley and he is now in his junior year. He has been very successful in his academics, he just finished his 2nd internship and he is preparing to depart in February for his study abroad semester over in Switzerland at the University of St. Gallen.
My D19 has applied ED to Bentley. This time around in the college process we knew right from the start that this university was her first choice. She has benefited from observing and hearing all about her brother’s experience at Bentley.
So here we go. Please weigh in (either now or at decision time) if you or your child has applied ED to Bentley’s Class of 2023. I know that this thread will benefit future applicants.
Here are my D19’s stats:
4.24 Weighted GPA
1360 SAT
5 AP’s and 5 Dual Enrollment (rest Honors or Electives)
Varsity Crew (4 yrs), Student Gov (4 yrs), Interact (4 yrs), NHS, and Spanish Honor Society
Leadership roles: Co-Captain Crew (12), Treasurer Student Gov (12), President Interact (12), Public Relations Chair Interact (11)
Community Service: Lots and lots of hours from various events through crew and her clubs
Wishing everyone the best! Looking forward to mid -December!
Good luck to everyone who applied ED! I am currently a Freshman at Bentley, and while it hadn’t been my first choice, I am loving the school thus far and am happy that I ended up choosing Bentley!
