Definitely Bentley is the choice.
Bentley’s accounting ranks very good nationally even Bentley does not have a national rank. Out of 23 colleges my D applied. Bentley is the only one does not have a national rank by US News.

u meant NEU not Bentley correct
I meant Bentley.
From US News, Bentley is rank NO. 1 in Regional Universities North while NEU ranks 49 national university.
From Niche, Bentley accounting ranks 13 nationally, higher than NEU.
Business school rank, NEU is higher than Bentley

Likely you have done this- But factor in that there is $0 tuition cost during your coops at NEU.
So many students are 4 years w 2 coops. Plus your student will be paid for coop.
We live in MA 10 miles from Boston and 5 mikes from Bentley. In the coop Program you can live anywhere your coop is in any state you find one.
My D is 3rd year and lived off campus apt for first coop. Her second coop she is hoping to live home for 6 months to save money, and get paid.
She will Do a 3rd coop & 5 years. So it’s really paying for 3.5 years of tuition and flexible housing costs depending on where coops are. Kids “flex” on and off campus all of the time.
I would reach out to the campus coop
Office and ask about typical accounting coops, where they are and how much they typically pay. There is an amazing Parent FB group for NEU and go on there and ask parents about typical coops for accounting. It’s a wonderful support group of parents who help each other w just these typ of situations.
As I said above my son also has same choice of Bentley and NEU. Both excellent schools. He’s still undecided so it may end up NEU gets the nod. Both are pricey!!! NEU tuition does go up a little every year.

Currently trying to decide between my offers – I need to pay $20k/yr at Fordham Honors, $40k/yr at Richmond, $30k/yr at Bentley Honors, $30k/yr at Rutgers Honors, and possibly nothing at UF Honors!
First congratulations!
If I made a choice from them, I would choose Fordham.
Unfortunately, we need to pay 50K for Fordham or Bentley, so they are out of the choice list. We have a cost of 28K for Richmond that is doable but not as good as 9K for Tulane.
Thanks so much! 9K at Tulane is amazing, so congrats to you too! I’m thinking of Fordham too, but Bentley is a close second. Just worried about the campus life/vibe because I’ve heard a few things about both schools…
New York has a tons of opportunities for business major, in my opinion.
It seems we are all looking at similar schools the only difference is the amount of merit. My D would pay approx $46,000 at Fordham, $15,000 at Rutgers Honors college and $20,000 at Bentley Honors. She was accepted to Villanova Honors but no money has been offered. I have researched all of theses schools and honestly there doesn’t seem much that separates them other than fit and location. @dazzlingberry08 I would choose Fordham, it is a good school. @FeiXing I would choose Tulane, it is a good school. As for my D we have a few more to hear from so we will see. But she is thrilled with her scholarship from Bentley. We are trying to visit also but it is not easy.
Villanova was on my D’s list all the time, but eventually she did not have time to complete it and gave up. Looks like we made a right choice if Villanova does not offer money easily.
As of now Tulane is THE BEST choice for her, and it is only 1.25 hour driving from home.
If your D’s choice is accounting, it is worth extra cost of $5000 to choose Bentley over Rutgers.
I have a cousin who transferred from a higher
Ranked Business School,UMass Isenberg, to Bentley and Bentley turned out to be a much better fit for her. Agree fit is priority along with
Cost to attend. Also Bentleys career placement is second to none.
Sorry I couldn’t find its ranking higher than Bentley, for either business school or accounting major.
US News only has both on Grad Business
Rankings at #53 and #99. Undergrad they don’t compare them as one is National University and B is Regional at #1 . Quality wise both fantastic, as is Tulane, NEU, Nova. Hard to go wrong if one is fortunate to have any of those options!
It’s funny the US News no longer ranks Nova. I never know what to believe, but I think you are right all the schools you have mentioned Bentley, NEU, Nova, Tulane, UMass are all excellent schools and I don’t think you can go wrong with any. It’s all down to which you prefer and which is better financially.
Does anyone have info about Bentley’s Health Studies program?
Anyone try to just drive around campus instead of an admitted student tour?
That won’t be a problem, it’s an open campus. Are they not allowing any tours, not even self guided, outdoors?
There are tours going on! There’s one tomorrow
There are guided tours going on, but they are pretty much completely booked. You should definitely keep checking because they may have cancellations. At the main entrance they had a big sign saying that the campus was closed to the public, but there didn’t seem to be anyone really checking. I’m sure it would be okay if you wanted to walk or drive around the campus.
My D has denied the admission and good luck to whoever on the waitlist !
