Berkeley BLIPS Summer Program quality?

Used to be called HSSRPP

How good is this program, and does this have the same ranking as say RSI, MITES, COSMOS, SSP, Caltech YESS?

This is 7.5 week summer program, pays $2000 to its 30 interns, works at Lawrence Hall, a government/Berkeley national research lab.
We will write an abstract and do our own research related to that of our mentors, who are full time researchers, not graduate students.

So, how is it, link is here:
BLIPS Home

RSI is by and far more selective, rigorous, and meaningful than BLIPS.

RSI>MITES>SSP>BLIPS>YESS>COSMOS.

Agreed that RSI is the top program. BLIPS is a very selective internship. SSP is much easier to get in (someone said >50%). Why SSP>BLIPS?

I got into BLIPS, but not SSP. I don’t have data for BLIPS (30 / ?), but SSP had about a 13% acceptance rate this year (much lower than previous years because of the increase in applicants).
