does location matter to u?

berkeley is awesome..
nyu doesn't have a REAL campus, and it is HUGE, so getting to know professors may be a little tough..
cornell is ivy, but it is in ithica..beautiful place, but doesn't seem like it would be enjoyable..

What do you want to study? Have you been to Ithica?

No idea yet what I want to study...Ithaca is all right I guess, a little too cold, but its not far from where I live in PA

ithaca wont be enjoyable if you need a large city to be entertained. Otherwise, it has everything you need to survive at college with Cornell doing everything else to keep you entertained. You wont be isolated from much either, I went to NYC this past weekend and a few friends i know are going next weekend as well. It can get cold in the winter, but you wont be doing yourself any weather favor by going to NYU.

if you decide to attend NYU, make sure you're absolutely certain you know what you're getting into ... there isn't really any campus and alot of my friends there say they dont feel like they're actually in college at all. Just make sure you know what to expect.

"undecided" is the most popular major at Cornell so you wont be alone. I, of course, give my vote to Cornell.

Yeah NYU is a very serious choice- basically you are saying you don't want the college experience.

All 3 of these universities have schools ranked in the top 12 for undergraduate business (Berkeley-3, NYU-5, Cornell-12). Just a thought.

Since you don't mind Ithica, Cornell over NYU.

Your decision is between Cal and Cornell. Choose on the basis of the environments, which are vastly different. Do you want small and country, or big and metropolitan? You should fly into Oakland and check out the campus on Cal Day.

Cal will be much cheaper after you get residency (last 2 1/2 years if you do it right). You'll get more pampered at Cornell, but will pay for that privilege.

I loved it at Cal, but most Cornell alums I've met liked it there too. I know I would prefer Cal over Cornell, but that's a personal choice, and you need to make yours on that basis too.
