Berkeley or USC

Need opinion on what is better if you are kind of 50% on whether you want to do premed. Accepted to both for Bioengineering with USC half tuition which makes it about $8K more than Berkeley. The stories about Berkeley is kind of scary so wanted to know if anyone has insights on USC and how is engineering academics and premed advising along with research opportunities.

From what I’ve read GPA on Bioengineering at Cal is not as bad as other engineering majors like EECS.
