Berkeley (Regents?)

Hi all. UC Berkeley is one of my favorite schools out there and I was wondering if I had a chance at Regents if I were to apply. I’m in my junior year right now, so I guess this GPA stuff and AP scores aren’t done yet, but I’m guessing that all the stats will probably look very similar. I want to major in some general area related to biology, biotech, bioengineering, etc.

I’m an Asian girl who goes to an in-state school with a LOT of UC Berkeley admits every year. (Like a lot, seriously more than 20 and sometimes even 30s every year. I’m pretty sure UCB knows this school is hard so they let a lot of people in  just a rumor tho…idk)

I have an ACT of 35 (Eng 35, Math 35, CR 34, Sci 36)
If i’m taking only the classes from my sophomore and junior year, so far my UC gpa is 3.94 unweighted 4.17 weighted (4.33 weighted without cap, though)
I only have 2 AP Scores so far: Biology (5), Psychology (5). But this year I’m going to be taking English, Chinese, APUSH, and Chemistry.
I don’t really have significant ECs…but I guess I’m going to be marching band section leader next year…and a lab internship this summer.

I’m pretty confident that I have at least a fair chance at general admission, but what about for Regents? I know that the standards go up a LOT.

Thanks everyone.

Also idk if this helps but last summer (summer between soph and jun year) I took 2 classes there. One I had on P/F system and received a pass and the other I had on grading and received a B+ (89.9 :frowning: )
