besides being a women's college...

so ive been looking through the catalog and the catalog itself has a huge emphasis on the things that makes it special because its a women's college.

but what other aspects make it special?

i know this question is very broad sorry! :)

The all women aspect is definitely a large one and I think it also influences other aspects of our college experience. Wellesley women are very driven and motivated; we know what we want and we do almost anything to get it. In that respect, we’re stereotypically known for making lots and lots of lists and organizing everything.

I think what makes Wellesley in particularly special is the small class sizes and the accessibility of the professors. My largest class was an introductory chemistry lecture of 32 and my smallest class had 2 students; most have been around 10-20, depending on the subject. Professors always make themselves available to students: some come in before the 8:30am class starts, others have office hours on the weekends or later in the evenings.

If I think of more (which I probably will) I’ll add on to this later…
