<p>Like all "Best" lists, this one, too, should be taken with a few grains of salt. But I love the variety on this roster. It includes "elite" schools like Princeton and USC, big public universities, and smaller, far more obscure places, too.</p>
<p>The moral of the story is that, when one is looking into a specific academic niche, traditional factors (such as selectivity and prestige) don't tell the whole story.</p>
