<p>I attend a four year CUNY and unfortunately around the time that I was able to declare my major, my school was no longer offering education as one anymore. It is being offered as a minor, but without the initial credentials for teaching certification, so the minor only amounts to four general classes that could even be taken online as an option. I want to pursue teaching, and since the other schools I was considering are too expensive for me (Teachers College at Columbia), I figured I would go to a CUNY since many of my teachers growing up also attended CUNYs. </p>
