Best Delegate Model UN Summer Program Reputation

How is the reputation for the Best Delegate Model UN Summer Program at Georgetown? (Georgetown University: June 23-29, 2013) Is it worth the $1,250, or is it just one of those money-maker type programs? Do colleges look favorably on those who did it?

I have a sibling looking at this but I don’t know much about it. Anyone?

Hey guys,

I’m going to be one of the teachers at the Best Delegate Model UN Summer Program at Georgetown. The program features intensive leadership skills training, Model UN simulations, and a group project for a real NGO – it’s definitely a serious program. In addition, we cover how to best share your Model UN experience on your college applications and alumni of our program have been accepted into Ivy League and top universities. Spots at each campus are capped and determined by an application process, so the entire class of students will be of high caliber.

I would be glad to refer you to students who did it last year or to speak with you or your parents personally to address your questions. Please feel free to email me: kfc@bestdelegate.com.
