which is the best (and easy) engineering major if you are going to go to med school ???

There is no worst or best major for being pre-med, and there is no easy engineering major either.

I may be wrong here, but it seems that you're looking for an easy way out. If that is what you are aiming for, you are in for a very rough time going into med school. Getting in is one thing, staying in is another. If I am wrong, then sorry if I have offended you.

Regardless, best of luck to your plans!

no no i was not looking for an easy way out... from reading posts, i got an impression that engineering majors are allv ery very hard, so i was looking for an eng. major that was not time consuming, that would let me focus on the premed classes..

Oh ok.

In that case you might want to consider either biological or chemical engineering. Both types pretty much have to take all of the pre-med requirements for their major anyway.

EDIT: Both are time consuming however... I'm just pointing out that you can kill two birds with one stone.

I would say biomedical engineering, bioengineering, and biological engineering because a lot of your prereqs for medical school are also prereqs for you major. Also I wouldn't label any engineering major easy. Some maybe easier than others.

^^ you could've just said biological engineering since the other two are enclosed within its broad spectrum :p

Well at my school biological and biomedical engineering actually do different things. Thats why I separated them. I also included bioengineering because I know some schools call it that.
