Hey guys, I am an junior in EE and i ma really interested in getting a hardware position this next summer.

What companies do you think/hear of are the best/more exciting for hardware internships (Microsoft, Apple, Intel, etc)?
How much do they pay?

Thanks!

What would you like to do in hardware? Integrated circuits? Analog circuits? Firmware development? RTL? It really depends on what you want to do.

As a Junior, you also want to think about where you want to work AFTER graduation, because this internship is your stepping stone to a FT position. Many companies will offer good former interns full time positions in the same group. If you are concerned with salary, the bigger companies like the ones you listed (MS, Intel, Apple, Google, etc) will pay the best, although some of them pay considerably more than others.
