<p>So I got accepted and plan on attending Emory University. My major is Neuroscience and Philosophy with a minor in German. What type of laptop is best for science majors in general? I've narrowed it down to the 13 inch macbook pro and almost any Sony vaio laptop?</p>
<p>Any laptop will do. Though I want to point out that it seems like 2/3 of the student body at Emory own Macbook Pros.</p>
<p>Both Apple and Sony make good laptops. It all comes down to if you prefer a PC or a Mac. I own both a PC (Dell) and a Macbook Pro and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.</p>
