Best Law School in Europe?

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the best Law school(s) in Europe are? (As in Graduate school)

Depends heavily on where you want to practice law.

International Affairs/Relations, European Affairs/Relations/EU

My point is that if you want to practice on behalf of or in a certain country, you will be best served by attending law school in that country. This isn't, say, physics, where the facts are the facts no matter where you go -- laws vary from country to country and it's a smoother process if you're trained in the laws of the land in which you want to practice.

If you get a JD in the UK or anywhere in the commonwealth, you can practice anywhere in the commonwealth (Canada, UK, UK Virgin Islands, New Zealand, Austrailia, etc.) according to my Canadian friend. I'm pretty sure the EU has something like that too.

Members of the British Commonwealth

Members of the European Union

Yes I want to study European Politics within the EU & end up living in a European country. So, which is the best law school within theEU?

I would assume Oxford Law would be the most prestigious. As for the best education, who knows.

Whoops, when I read "Europe" I automatically assumed England since I lived there for a couple of years. I don't know the answer to this one at the moment.

I mean, as I've been trying to tell you for several posts now, it all depends on specifically which country you want to practice in. France is not going to do a very good job of teaching you German law, or Greek law, or Belgian law. Legal systems vary from country-to-country.

The best law school is probably in whatever country you eventually want to practice in.
