Best places to study Barnard/Columbia?

Hello all!! I am a big studier, but I have 2 different ways I like to study and was wondering where would be the best places to go.

First, I like to silently work/study. Does anyone know any of the secluded/less popular libraries to go to they can recommend?

Second, I sometimes like to orally recite things to memorize or to prepare for presentations. This is the one I am more worried about finding a place to do it…any suggestions? I know Columbia has some group rooms but are there any private study rooms?

Thanks!!

Chiming in since I don’t see any student replies… my daughter likes to use the private individual study rooms in Milstein for practicing languages aloud. The upper floors are also very quiet, even if you aren’t in the enclosed private rooms. Across the street, she likes the Avery Library (Art and Architecture) since it is quiet and not crowded.

Thank you so much!!! I am very appreciative!
