Best plan to get into Wharton?

I am currently a sophomore in HS and I’m taking Geometry Honors. My goal is to get into Wharton, but I know that a high level of Calc is recommended. Would it be better for me to

A) Take a Alg2/Trig course over the summer so I can get placed into pre-calc/calc for junior year, so then I would most likely have a better chance of entering one of the higher level calc classes?

or B) Just take Algebra 2/Trig Honors next year, which may lower my chances of getting into these AP calc classes as a Senior?

If you want Wharton you should do the algebra2/ trig over the summer so you can take precalc in your junior year and AP calc in your senior year. While I’m sure there are exceptions, being strong in math and having taken AP calculus is basically a must for admittance to Wharton.

Do well in Math II subject test and take AP calc before you graduate

Are you a legacy?

@thomol7860 Take the summer course, earn an A in every math course you take, and score an 800, which is not excessively difficult to do, on the Math II SAT Subject Test.

^That sounds like a solid plan.
