Best PSAT prep book and another question

What is the best prep book for the PSAT? DD wants to spend some time this summer getting ready for this. She was sick the day she was scheduled to take it as a sophomore so next fall will be her only chance.

Also, she took the ACT and SAT this year as a sophomore. Her scores weren't too bad. We are looking for merit aid- perhaps at a state university (Ohio). She isn't sure about a major yet. My question is should she retake both these tests no matter what since she took them as a sophomore? Will colleges think she is lazy (her thought) if she doesn't try to improve her junior year? Should she only retake one over the other? For both tests she needs to improve her math score. Is ACT math easier than SAT math or vice versa? She is currently in honors geometry and next year will be taking honors Algebra 2 if that makes a difference. Her scores are below.

We would appreciate any input. She will be our 2nd in college. Our ds is currently a high school junior. I have one more question about EFC. I did a calculator and it said our EFC was $18000. Do they split that if there are 2 kids in college at the same time?

Thanks so much!

SAT
CR 750
Math 630
Writing 750

ACT
composite 31
English 34
Math 27
reading 34
science 30

combined english/writing 31
writing 8

Your daughter has great scores already. Algebra 2 and Geometry concepts are some of the most prevalent on the SAT math section. 630 is a great score considering she has finished neither class. Once she finishes Geometry and has a firm grasp of basic Algebra 2 concepts, she should have no problem bringing up her Math score.
