Okay i'm looking to increase my reading and writing scores from 500's to 700's, my math score is perfect so i don't need help with that

VOCABULARY-what book, magazine, or such would u say would be best way to memorize most common vocab quickly and easily. Is vocablary cartoon 2 good choice cuz it has pics and mnemonics for most common sat words

Critical reading- would you say barrons is the best book for critical reading, plz list ur success stories and what book or other things would u use to prepare

WRITING- for writing what would be recomended book

SAT-what is overall best sat book? besides college boards blue book

4 MONTHs-I can dedicate hour to hour and half day studding for next five months, do yall have any study plans, or any books that come with it, or anywhere u can find it?

SUMMER-also studding summer for retake in fall what would be good summer study guide, i can dedicate 2 to 3 hrs a day.

Yes, the vocab cards work well. I am not one for studying "games"- I'm a more serious-minded person. However, I found the cards with the silly cartoons very easy to memorize- because for the ones I just could not remember, those silly cartoons I thought were a bit sketchy (no pun intended ;)) came to mind.

im in the same shoes as ilovebusiness. after taking precalc this year, I think the math section is easy as crap (only basic math). I'm a junior this year taking the sats in may. My CR is weakest, followed by the writing. I think my writing is improving by knowing some grammar rules.

For writing, I recommend getting a grammar book... not a writing workbook or anything like that. Using Warriners Grammar and Comp., I gained 9 points on the PSAT. But, if you want a workbook, I recommend McGraw-Hill.

Also, don't get bogged down with the vocab. I would concentrate on reading. (Classics - search the internet for an AP English list) But, this isn't my area of expertise... I always do HORRIBLE on CR.

I think it's the writing, rather than the CR, where the vocab really kicks in. If you don't understand the vocab word in an otherwise simple sentence, you may well have no idea where to start with the answers.

Would using a workbook be the best plan to see big increases in Critical Reading? I am lacking in the CR and writing sections, but I want to focus more on CR because writing usually doesn't count in college admissions.

Critical Reading Workbook OR Blue Book Practice Tests?
OR OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS??!
