Best thing to bring to college

air freshener is my saving grace. Ziplock baggies also really came in handy.

Friend used a Tom Binn 'Buzz'. He was pretty happy with it. He could only carry a large textbook or two small textbooks and a small binder. Pro is that its light weight because your not carrying much. Con is that you won't have all your books to study with.

I'm happy with my JanSport 'Odyssey'. Straps are very comfortable they have a spongy, honey-comb plastic in them. Waist straps are essential to not getting a backache. Before I had a GAP backpack and every night I would have a backache from carrying my books for maybe 30 mins total the whole day (3 thick textbooks+binder). I've stopped having sleepless nights because of the 'Odyssey'. Since the 'Odyssey' is a daypack, it's designed to carry weight . That is probably the key statement when looking at bags.

Can't say I've needed the condoms much. But duct tape and the mattress cover are real biggies.

^AIDS is fatal
