Best time to visit and interview

I liked Loomis in the rain. And Hotchkiss wasn’t bad either. Just Deerfield really didn’t click. It probably was me getting unlucky. I always get unlucky with visits and the rain!!!

I visited Loomis on a sunny and brisk day with thin sheets of snow on the ground.

My SPS visit was picturesque. Everything was covered in snow, the windows were frosted over, the pond was frozen, and it even lightly started to snow during my interview.

It was snowing during my Exeter visit… hard! It was gray, but I still liked it, yet I don’t think its the best time to visit because I think the campus looks amazing during the fall.

Lawrenceville in late April/May is the best, according to my tour guide and revisit person, as well as some admissions officers. The trees and the grass are all green, and the sunniness makes it picturesque.

Although I wouldn’t recommend scheduling interview dates solely around the fall foliage, the view of the leaves is simply spectacular in some places. You can get a sense of when the peak colors are happening by going to the following site
