Best way to raise your GPA after graduating?

Hi Folks!

First time poster, somewhat long time reader here. =)

I received my bachelors in economics and sociology from a top public university and am now working in the admin leg at a nonprofit law firm. I would love to attend a T14 law school but am aware my chances are slim to none with my 3.0 GPA. I'm seeking ways to boost my GPA, and/or measure I could take to increase my chances.

Some potential methods include:

Taking a class or two every semester at my alma mater or another university while working to boost my GPA

Getting a Masters degree first (I'm genuinely interested in Social Work and Public Policy)

Doing a post-bac

Some things that may be useful to know:

I'm the first to graduate from my family (low-income, immigrant)

My GPA slightly improved every semester during my last two years of undergrad

I intend on pursuing public interest law

What are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Your plan to take classes to boost your GPA is not going to work for you. Your LSAC GPA only takes into consideration grades that you received until you got your bachelors degree (yes, it includes college courses taken during high school and at colleges other than your degree granting school, but not classes taken after graduation).

If you’re genuinely interested in Social Work then why not pursue a M.A. in Social Work as opposed to a law degree?
