Dartmouth ED or Cornell ED?

Which school has a better undergrad for medicine? I want to go to Princeton for Graduate school.

cmon guys. 10char

Well, I think it is a waste of time and money to retake the SAT. Really, at these schools, they turn away thousands of perfect GPA/SAT students every year. They are looking for well-rounded as well. Looks to me like you have some strong EC’s and the great hook of being a first-generation attendee.

I think Cornell is easier to get into ED, but that you have a real shot at either. The big thing is to look at who else from your class is applying, many privates have lots of legacies, athletes and top URMs.

Do I have a shot at Brown or UPenn?

You have a shot at both because you have great standardized tests and you’ll have great essays and recommendations. But do you have any significant EC’s or leadership positions? I think colleges will want to see that you do something outside of school.

Sure, Penn is easier to get into than Dartmouth and Brown about the same as D.

Your stats are fine, but your EC’s are nothing special. Also, not to burst your bubble, but none of what you listed is considered a hook.

If you’re looking into medicine, Cornell would probably be the better choice AFAIK because of its strength in the sciences.
