What would you say would be better for someone interested in business, a bigger school, like USC, Michigan or Washington, or a liberal arts college such as Hamilton?

Thanks for any advice.

Likely a larger university, with more intership options, alumnis etc… though if you plan to attend graduate school for buisness, than a LAC would be fine as well.

Yikes, looks like I forgot the “a” in “a big university.”

Is there any way to edit the title?

It depends–if you simply must major in “business”, you will likely find most of the best programs at larger universities. However, if you are willing to look outside the box to include an economics major (rather than business), any top LAC will serve you just as well for graduate school or jobs.

OP,

If you can get into Michigan-Ross go there. It’s a top business school and the environment is entrepreneurial, responsive, intellectual, professional and thriving. It’s, by far, the best school amongst your choices.

Thanks for the advice so far, and RML, I’m definitely hoping to get into Michigan, as it’s close to most of my family in Toronto (although I live in the US currently), as well as having a great reputation business-wise.
