Betty White has died just a couple of weeks before her 100th birthday.
Very sad.
I knew by the time I returned from dropping @MaineLonghorn at the airport that there would be a thread about Betty White. So very, very sad
Noooo!!! Aw mann. I’m so sorry. She was awesome.
Damn. I was really hoping she’d make it until next month.
What an amazing life and career she had. The last remaining main cast member from The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls. RIP with Allen and thank you for being a friend.
So sad. She’s one of my all time favorites. Seemed like she’d be around forever.
Yes, I was hoping she would make it to 100. My best friend just lost her mom two months after her 100th birthday.
Just saw the news. Heartbroken
Somehow she was such a bright light always.
A well lived life!
Damn! I thought the worst thing that could happen today was that I pulled my back out. I was wrong. The news of Betty White dying 17 days before her 100th birthday literally is the worst news I’ve heard today. RIP dearest Ms. White.
We were just discussing her yesterday. Definitely a life well lived. Her agent/friend said she was never afraid of dying because she believed she would be reunited with her husband, and she looked forward to that.
RIP, Betty White. You brought (and still bring) joy and laughter to generations.
We will miss you and NEVER forget you. I bet you and Allen Ludden are already having a ball up there!
She was an absolute treasure.
RIP Betty White. I was so sad to hear she didn’t make it to 100. I grew up watching the Golden Girls and have been a fan ever since. Thought she’d be around at least for a few more years. I hope she went peacefully.
This fabulous woman brought so much joy and laughter into so many lives for so many years. She will be so missed.
But think about the MTM Show and Golden Girls reunion that is taking place.
And of course her husband.
RIP…to someone who was just amazing.
A hilarious video with Betty, Ryan Reynolds, and Sandra Bullock.
She was blessed. She knew love. She was beautiful. She was funny. She kept her mind and her wit as she aged. She supported animals, gay rights, and human rights in general. She was a trailblazer all her life.
The world needs more Bettys.
She looked so happy. I never really watched Golden Girls and such but she seems to have radiated joy.
