For those waiting for PACE BFA Acting calls: Last year, my son’s acceptance call came on a Sunday night at 9pm! With the weekend coming, just wanted to share that PACE calls do go out on weekends. ; )
Anyone have any first hand knowledge on PACE’s BA IPE Acting program?
Regarding Syracuse acceptances- last year, my S got his notification in the first wave. He got an email at approximately 6pm on that Friday (which would be tonight this year) and I believe the email included both the acceptance plus a talent award. My S is extremely happy there and I’d be happy to answer any questions. Good luck everyone.
@JeanneDArc Thanks for sharing. I think that those of us still waiting to hear from Pace would love to know if all the calls are out, or if there are still students who are going to be accepted, who haven’t yet been notified. Good to know that calls can come on a weekend. Was your son accepted by this date last year?
@workinggirl25 and others who are interested - I have a freshman and senior at Pace BA-Acting IPE. PM me and I’d be happy to chat or put you in touch with my kids. They each have different backgrounds, interests/strengths, and paths that the program supports while challenging their talents for maximum growth. I have also posted about the curriculum etc (if you prefer to just search my posts).
He got the call on March 11th. When my son went to the Accepted Student Overnight on April 20, many people were still deciding (including us) so there was shuffling even that late. Great program, BTW! Fingers crossed for all!!
My S is stoked about PACE BA Acting (IPE). Thanks @coronado for sharing experiences. Still waiting to hear from three other schools. Financing #4 of 4 kids, is a major concern.

My D was just denied from Fordham. It’s ok was not top of her list but never a good feeling.

I was looking through my old posts for something and ended up coming across the details of my d’s Pace FTVC acceptance. She was called on the Friday before they closed for Spring Break, which was March 11th that year. She got her official letter on March 20.
