Should I contact my regional director or should I give my BGO a short, respectful followup phone call? If I contact my regional director instead, would he be able to give me my BGO's address so I can mail him a letter along with a pack of my information?

I wish my candidates were as aggressive as you are, young lady. :-)

It's usually me doing the poking, cajoling and prodding to get them to engage and get the interview scheduled and their applications completed. Be persistent. Call him again. Good luck!

One of the more experienced BGO's in my area told me that he won't do an interview until the candidate's package is 50% complete. That's not the guidance we're given by the Admissions Office or our Area Coordinators; they want us to get interviews done as early in the process as possible. In his experience, he feels that a lot of the interviews are wasted on applicants who aren't serious about the appointment so he doesn't want to waste his time. You don't sound like one of those kids, but I echo USNA69's question about how complete your application is.

USNA69 -- No, it's not fully complete. I'm having my essay read by as many teachers as possible. I'm also waiting on my recomendations. My college counselor confirmed my acitivities sheet, so that is done. They have my SAT scores as well as CFA results from NASS (though I am retaking both the SAT and the CFA to reach my top potential). All of my teachers have my resume, class info, and everything, so my recomendations should be finished within a week -- I hope.

However, when I had initial contact with my BGO a month ago he asked me for my contact information as well as possible interview dates. I believe that I should have received another e-mail from him letting me know that he received what I sent him. From what I can make of it, I assume from his first e-mail that he had the intention of scheduling my interview with me.

Relax, seriously. Complete your package. He will be contacting you. As I stated earlier, the Admissions Office will not let it lapse more than a couple of weeks beyond your application completion date.

I know I need to relax. It's just hard to do when I think about all the college applications I need to fill out.

But on the other hand, BGO e-mailed me back. :) He said he's been busy with work ever since he came back from vacation. Also said he'll give me a call within the next week to schedule an interview. I made sure to ask him for his address (but also told him I could just get it from him when he calls if he doesn't have time) so that I can mail him my resume, transcript, etc. for him to have before the interview.
