I don't know about your school.. But in my school, every teacher has favorites.. And if he/she doesn't like you.. You can essentially say good bye A and Hello C. Currently all of my teachers are like the "favorite teachers" of the whole school (meaning every popular kid loves the teacher), so they usually get the compliments.

But to me, those teachers are just rude. They make fun of you behind your back, they talk crap about you, etc. And it's not like I'm an obnoxious kid who doesn't listen to them. I DO LISTEN TO THEM. I'm like that model student, quiet, studious, responsive. Yet they hate me.

I don't know. I feel like I'm going to explode with all the hostility.

They can see the resentment in your face.
Feel your hostility and hear your cold, flat affect responses.
They see you rolling your eyes during class.
Murmuring your discontent under your breath.

No wonder they don’t respond in a friendly way to you.
They can tell you do not respect them.

Ha. Funny. But seriously. I don’t hate them. I freaking love all of my teachers. But seriously. They don’t respect me at all. A popular volleyball player answers the question. He smiles and nods to her. However, I answer the question and all he does is give a look of resentment.

I have a couple teachers like that at my school. I had to drop AP Spanish because my teacher absolutely hated me, only because I wasn’t a “true” hispanic in her eyes because english is my first language. I have friends in her class who are incredibly smart but have a D in her class and others who don’t even try and have A’s because of favoritism. Since I had to drop AP Spanish I am going to self study it to take the exam and hopefully pass
