Do the big 4 accounting firms recruit at davis? i saw a list of all the companies that recruit at the fall internship fair and a couple of the big 4 were on it. i believe that davis doesn’t really offer much in the way of accounting, although the managerial econ major requires students to take a few basic accounting courses. would doing man econ be a good way to get a job or internship at the big 4?

haha same question. :T (3rd on waitlist for mgt11A hope i get in haha.)

I actually interned at PricewaterhouseCoopers 2 summers ago. Competition is pretty tough. I think 90+ people submitted resumes, 10 got interviewed, 3 got internships. All to tax, didn't see any Davis students in Audit and Advisory is not recruited at Davis. First round interview is on campus and then you go to the office in SJ or SF or depending on which office. BTW I didn't take the Tax Accounting class at Davis before my internship! During your interview you must show that you are interested in getting a CPA in the future, so know how to get a CPA and the requirements and where to take classes (outside of Davis) to meet those requirements.
