Big Financial Aid Discrepancy

I got my financial aid package from Harvard (finally), but it's very different from what I got from Princeton, Yale, and Stanford. Essentially, Harvard is asking that my family contributes over $10,000 more than P,Y, and S (which are pretty close to each other).

Also, I get the impression that Harvard does not match offers... but this is a pretty big difference. What should I do?

Fax 'em the other offers and ask them what gives.

It may be a question of matching or not, or it may be a calculation error that might be adjusted.

My S got accepted to HYP, YP also had similar financial aid package and H was asking about $15,000 more on family contribution. We faxed both offers from YP, and H reduced $10,000 of family contribution in second day. So write a letter and fax it with other offers to financial aid office ASAP.
