Thanks Northstarmom :)

Gina Grant. She lied, telling an interviewer her mother had died in an accident.

I don't think you need to reveal this, its a sealed juvenile record anyway. I think when they ask your counselor on the form, "has student ever been suspended or on probation" they mean academic probation since I can't imagine it would be ethical for a teacher to comment on your situation out of school. I believe there may be a question on some applications about being "convicted of a felony" but not sure. I really doubt you need to report this unless your GC tells you otherwise.

dude in ur essay write about the incident, also elaborate on the "have u been suspended" record

I think the best thing to do has already been expressed. You probably don't even have to mention it. But I recommend not using your essay to explain this. It would really seem desperate.

I agree with dogs, it will be expunged, you weren't convicted and you don't have to reveal it. When they mention probation, I agree they mean academic probation. I hope you really did learn something from this experience, though, since there'll be plenty of similar situations you'll be confronted with in college and it's not worth the risk for a few laughs with the buddies.

The sad part is that I didnt know what was happeneing. They were going to drop me off at home, and they threw some eggs at a car in my neighborhood. Someone saw them, took the plate # when they came back to leave my neighborhood, and called the cops.

AH well, I will not reveal anything myself. If my counsler insisits ( after I tell her about no conviction and expungement)-then I will have her explain it.

Thanks for all the help/support/whateva

BM, allow me to offer one other angle.

Even if all the lawyer and counciler assured you don't have to tell, and the record expunged, is there a small chance one of your trouble-making friend upon learning you got into a good school and he didn't for obvious reason, decided to fink on you, tell your new school the record you once had. That is a small chance. You ought to ask yourself, can you trust your friends?
