<p>lucky dog I’m sure for the most part they are taken seriously but not for my kid… I also didn’t mention in my previous post in this thread, (but have in other threads) that my d arrived for her first interview and the professor that was supposed to interview her never showed up. Two students who were there to work the weekend had to call around and then after not finding the professor had to ask my D some questions…very unprofessional. She was told… don’t worry it’s not going to really matter, they know who you are. Not what we wanted to hear after flying down, hotels… taking off work etc… Is my experience probably unusual? Yes, I’d go so far as to believe that but I do believe what they said about the process. hopefully somewhere out there is a child that got more than they expected from the weekend.</p>
