Bing's very own RateMyProfs

Binghamton has just elected to make the SOOT (Student Opinion of Teaching) Surveys public information.

Basically instead of going to RateMyProfessors and seeing something that may or may not be accurate or recent, you can go to mybingprofessors.com and get the SOOT results for the professors by class and even specific semester.

Not every professor is on the site yet, and this does not include TAs unless they get SOOT surveys (usually its just departmental).

At the very least you can ensure that you're seeing the survey results from a greater number of students in a particular class with a larger variety of grades.

Check it out: mybingprofessors.com

wow, very useful indeed. Although I wish they would compile the data using all semesters of a professor’s course. I mean, if a student wants to see the data for a specific course, which semester should he/she choose? It would be useful to see the data averaged across all semesters. For now, I think most students are just going to choose the most recent semester.
