Bio 1b-Feldman

So for the midterm, what have you (past students) found it most beneficial to do - in terms of studying? I've heard its damn near impossible to get an A, so this first midterm is quite a cause of stress. The UGSI in my class told me that reading the book is basically useless, and that we should just watch lectures over and over.

Also, in terms of "general concepts" as Feldman likes to call it, what does that really encompass? I guess what I'm tryign to get at is: what the hell should we study and focus on? (and also what should we not study-like are there some things that he lectures on, but dont really matter - you know, like when professor talk for like 10 minutes about nonessential materials...)

I just studied his notes REALLY well. Over and over again. Take good notes during your first lecture/webcast and don’t watch it again… watching eats up a lot of time and isn’t any more effective in my experience. I agree that reading the book is pointless (I never even touched it).

f bio1b i hate that sh.tt
