Biochemistry vs Biology

Just wanted someone to explain the major differences and which major is harder.

The main difference between Biology major and Biochemistry major is the amount of requirements in terms of extra physical science and calculus knowledge. … You’ll be taking lots of Chemistry courses which regular Biology majors do not usually take. For example, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry.

For UCLA, here is the 4 year plan for a Biology major vs. Biochemistry major.

Which major is harder will depend upon your academic strengths so if you like Chemistry better than Biology, Biochem might be easier for you.

For the most part biochem is harder, but your personal strengths might affect that.
I was surprised to find out that bio in UCLA takes a more evolutionary, environmental approach.
