For all of you in bioe25... care to share the weekly magic word? :]

I need this weeks as well...

haha, we’re talking about the “magic word” that every guest speaker gives at the end of their presentation in our bioe 25 seminar. This is just a way to get people to actually go to this class.

Just wondering did anyone go to BioE 25 this week?

Hi. Anyone here taking BioE 25? I have to miss tomorrow’s seminar, but don’t want to waste my weekly point. If someone will share the magic word with me tomorrow, I will return the favor for the next few weeks.

Anyone ?

Work hard, play harder.

No joke. that is the magic phrase. man I love that class!

^ditto! 10char

Thank you Lupirius!

Let’s organize this here situation we got so we don’t have to sit in those uncomfortable, loud, plastic chairs while playing farmville on our laptops and pretending to care about “careers in bioengineering.” Mondays are bad enough.

Anyone went yesterday? I had a midterm from 4 to 6pm and couldn’t attend.

It’s somewhere in here:

What inspired Nadya Suleman to get back into 24-inch-waist jeans nine months after giving birth to octuplets?

“The main reason was obviously revenue and I’m the first to admit it,” she said on The View Wednesday of dropping 145 pounds through weight training and a sensible diet. “I’m very, very open and honest about that.”

Look back at the octuplets’ first year!

The 34-year-old Suleman - whose eight babies turned 1 this past January - said she still worries about how she will take care of her 14 children and pay her three nannies.

“Every single hour of the day, I contemplate how I am going to do this, to be able to support them,” said Suleman, who had been studying for a master’s degree in counseling before having the octuplets.

“It is a Catch-22,” she continued. “If I go back to school … I couldn’t possibly earn enough money to take care of them … So the only other option (lol i didn’t put it in) is to delve into other opportunities … you know, doing interviews … to make the money.”

She said the money issue never dawned on her before she had the kids.

Asked if she was out of her mind, she replied, “Ive asked myself that for years … I was in denial for so many years thinking, ‘Oh, I’m so smart … I only have a year more for my master’s … I can do it all.’”

She denied she was mentally unstable. “If I were genuinely ‘mentally unstable,’ I would have drowned from the beginning,” she said. “I know for a fact.”

These days, she said she sleeps “two hours a night” as she “desperately” tries to have one-on-one time with her kids every day.

“My life has become literally a blur of child rearing,” said Suleman, who added that she also is working on a book.

Would she ever have another baby?

Not until “far, far, far in the future when [the kids] are older if, God willing, I meet somebody,” she said. “I’m not going to say 100 percent no.”

Octuplets mother Nadya Suleman says she doesn’t plan on having more children unless she gets married someday “far” in the future. She says if that ever happens, she would only have one child.

Widely known as “Octomom,” Suleman has six older children. She appeared Wednesday on ABC’s daytime talk show “The View,” where she has been a frequent topic of debate.

Suleman’s octuplets celebrated their first birthday in January.

All of her children were conceived by in vitro fertilization, and she has been criticized for having a huge family as a single mother on public assistance.

She says her children are her priority and she is looking into various opportunities, including writing a book, to support them.

“If someday far, far, far, far in the future, when they’re older, if I meet somebody. … I’m not going to say 100 percent ‘no,’” Suleman said when asked if she planned to have more children. “I’m not going to say someday far in the future (I will) get married and want a baby with that person.”

you’re welcome…

That would actually be helpful if I knew that none of the other options were in the text. However, I am unsure of that. Anyone else? :<

Anyone have the magic word??
