I was looking at some posts about premed at Penn and found that there are subconcentrations under the biology major. I know that neuroscience is one of them but what are the others under the biology major? Thanks.

More specifically, UPenn - SAS - Biology - Programs - Undergraduate - Manuals - Major Manual - Special Concentrations

There's also the general major, whose requirements can be found here.

Also, just FYI, all of these concentrations are a very small group of people each year. The molecular and neuroscience concentrations are the biggest two, and there are only about 15-20 neuroscience concentrations in my year. The others are merely a handful, so you certainly don't have to concentrate if you don't want to; most people don't. I actually think this setup is quite nice, at you get to know the professors who teach in your concentration are quite well (though really not until your upperclass years), and at the same time are still part of one of the biggest and most well-supported programs at Penn. The only downsides is the additional course requirements, particularly for molecular, and that the molecular and neuro concentrations force you to do a thesis.
