I’m wondering which I should major in at Brandeis (I’ve lumped my interests into those two categories). If I major in Biology, am I making a huge commitment to the subject because of all the science requirements? I don’t really like physics or chemistry, but I love biology. What to do??? I need to choose soon (I think) because I have to take Chemistry this year if I want to go with Biology.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much, I think it’s mostly about how self-disciplined you are and how you manage your time. Yes, you will have to do a lot of science classes if you do biology, but I knew people majoring in Bio, who also took econ, politics or language classes. Or people who didn’t major in science at all who were very busy because of the kinds of classes they took or the number or type of extracurriculars they did
