Whats the best school for Biology and or Biophysics (if school offers)?

MIT is arguably the best school for biology (and a lot of other things). But biology is such a popular major that it is strong in A LOT of colleges. That's why you rarely see rankings for top undergrad bio colleges.

Size, location, ... ?

There are many great bio-schools. Depends on what you are looking for.

I'm applying this year and going to be a bio major so I've done a good deal of research. I would agree that MIT is the best school for molecular biology (research opportunities and faculty are better than anywhere else). After MIT, I would rank Harvard and Stanford. Other schools with strong biology depts that I know have a biophysics major include JHU, Penn, and Columbia. Less competitive but still really strong with biophysics majors are UCSD and Brandeis. Hope that helps.

M(^o^)RGAN is right. Picking a school because it is the "best" in biology or even biophysics is extremely silly. Most biophysics programs require a certain set of biochemistry, molec. bio/genetics, cell bio, and physics classes that can be found at many, many colleges. Size, location, price/financial aid, etc. are important if you want recommendations.

for Biophysics:
Johns Hopkins
U Michigan Ann Arbor
UC San Diego
Yale
U Illinois UC
Purdue
MIT
U Penn
Cornell
Brown
Iowa St

Listen to Warbler. Enough of this "best" nonsense, in something as broad as Biology.

like all of the top 200 schools have great biology programs.

Obviously, you should pick a school that is a good fit. You can get a good biology education at any school. However, the faculty, research opportunities, areas of focus, etc. vary from school to school. You will get a better education at MIT than at a community college. I listed schools that I have researched and that matched my criteria.

There are plenty of schools that don't even offer a biophysics major, yet offer unparalleled opportunities in the field- Duke immediately comes to mind. Biophysics is a very popular Program II major, and it's a very strong program due to the biology department and the medical school. However, I notice that neither you nor collegehelp listed it...maybe you should rethink your criteria. :p

I did not know Duke had a biophysics major. If I had known that, I probably would have mentioned it. I love Duke. My father went there.

It's not exactly a major, so it's not well-known. Program II allows you to design your own major, and many people choose to organize a biophysics track that meets their interests. :)
