Biomedical engineering major advice

Hi, I've only posted one other time so I'm really sorry if this is in like the wrong forum? But I'm a sophmore in high school and I want to major in biomedical engineering. I am worried about getting accepted to any programs because when it comes to math, I'm in geometry(which is horrible I know, but in middle school I messed around so it put me on a lower track, I do love math though). Do you think I'd be okay if I took algebra 2 over the summer precalc junior year then ap calc senior year, do you think that would be alright?
My schedule for next year will probably be ap bio, ap chem, apush and ap english.
Senior year: ap gov, ap econ, ap english, ap calc, and ap art history.
I was thinking of taking ap physics as well, but I wasn't sure if that would be impossible because I have very little background knowledge of physics. I just need to know if my classes will put me on the right track to even be considered for bme at most colleges.
thank you for your time!

Your plans for math as well as the rest of your classes seem fine. You don’t need much initial knowledge of physics to do AP Physics, but it may be a difficult and/or time-consuming class depending on what it’s like at your school.

Algebra 2 is the hardest of the bunch. You’d be better off taking precalc over the summer.
Is taking calculus after algebra 2 an option? It’s possible if you’re good at math.

I’ll ask my counselor! My parents don’t want me doing algebra 2 over the summer too, because I “need a strong foundation” haha.
