Biomedical engineering

I was sure I wanted to be a BME but after reading some of the posts on here I am not sure its such a good idea. I need to get a job after college in order to go to grad school, but I have heard it is really hard to get a job in BME with a bachelor degree is that true? Options/alternatives?

You can go into a Biomedical Engineering graduate program from just about any other Engineering program. The most popular are Chemical or Electrical Engineering. Any of them will offer good job prospects with a B.S.

That being said, if you are interested in a Ph.D. in BME, you should expect to have full financial support and not have to pay for it yourself. Therefore, if you think you can do well enough in an undergraduate program to get into a BME Ph.D. program, then a B.S. in BME is a fine idea.
