Hi!
I’m thinking about enrolling into the CMB/BME program but would like to hear more of your opinions.
First, I know that engineering courses are hard but what are the average GPA’s, in courses like BiomedE 221? What is the difficulty in comparisons to Orgo/calc?
Are the professors in BME department generally easy to approach and helpful?

I cannot speak to the difficult of the courses (although classes at the CoE are known to be challenging), but professors at Michigan are among the most approachable and helpful you are likely to find at a research university. All professors have office hours, and they will always accommodate students seeking help.
