Biomedical Engineers - How Much Drafting/Drawing Involved?

I’m interested in biomedical engineering because I want to work on something related to biodegradable packaging, carbon emission reduction, or the like, so I took a Drafting class last year. I did terrible, and typically had a C or D, and pulled it up to an 85 at the end of the year. I don’t know if I can get any better at it, and I’m worried about going into the field if I can’t draw good design plans… So how much do you guys typically make drawings, and what kind of leeway can you get when you positively suck at it?

Are there any alternative pathways I could go if I really can’t get better at drafting?

Is it just me, or do those two examples have literally nothing to do with medicine…? (My point being, why are you interested in bioMEDICAL if you want to do things with packaging and the environment?)

Sorry, I meant bioengineering… ;(

In most cases, bioengineering and biomedical engineering are used interchangeably. It’s near impossible to infer anything from the curriculum based on whether a program is called bioengineering or biomedical engineering.

Bump, I’m also interested in the answer to this.
